The first Friday of every month we have our Company Meeting. Our last meeting was Aug 6. Here are the key takeaways and reminders from topics discussed in that meeting:
IT Boost Working on moving the last few clients over from the old intranet to Boost.If you need training in Boost reach out to Chris or Chad.If you’re interested in becoming a Boost editor reach out to Chris.
Cross Training Required to cross train for the SOC 2 audit. If you cross train with fellow employees send Chris a message with who you trained and what you covered.
Arrive on Time Reminder to arrive on time both in-office and on-site. It’s important for both ticket assignments and call queues that each Team Member is in the office when they are expected to be. If there are delays please contact your manager and post in Dispatch.

About: Peach Fest
Peach Festival in Romeo, Michigan, is one of the best family-friendly Labor Day events in the state. Its main highlights are Labor Day “Hometown” Parade, Night Parade, several craft shows, the car show, charity cruise as well as 5K and 10K runs. Delicious peaches are, of course, the main focus of the festival so be prepared to try lots of yummy delights. There will be dozens of vendors and plenty of entertainment for the whole family
Diatomaceous Earth Day – August 31
You are probably wondering what this is. Diatomaceous Earth is a mineral powder that comes from rocks. It has a variety of home uses that definitely come in handy for pesky problems! Amanda has used it at Chad’s advice – to rid her home of fleas. Katie has used it sprinkled over plant soil to get rid of annoying fungus gnats (similar to fruit flies).
DE sees nearly universal use in the filtration of liquids. For example, DE filters the beer and wine we drink. It also filters the water in swimming pools. DE refines chemicals for food and medications. Another DE use is in paint; it removes the sheen making flat paint flat. Pretty exciting stuff!
